FAQs

Why did you develop this plan?

For a few reasons, the main one being that we believe everybody should be able to make their own choices about their health. These days it is very difficult to market products such as ours without people being sceptical, requiring clinical studies and expensive research to be done before a product is taken even remotely seriously. In our experience these requirements are unnecessary as most of our customers have come to us through referral, and it's good enough for them to know that their brother, colleague, grandson etc. used it with remarkable results; they don’t need statistics because when a parent discovers that the 8 year old son of Dr Larkey hasn’t had asthma for a year since taking one months’ supply they are far more likely to give it a go for their own son.

My mission when I set out to sell Yamoa was to try to let as many people as I could know that there is something that can potentially help them to come off their drugs, and free their bodies from chemical reliance, which in all too many cases can have long term side effects. I have two children of my own, a son, Kai, 9 and a daughter Robyn, 2, and if someone came to me with a possible natural solution to a condition they may suffer from which I found to be sometimes terrifying when it manifests, of course I would give it a chance to help. The beauty of this plan is it not only offers a wonderful opportunity to children to start to get their childhood back, but it also could be free of charge. I would hope that it would also open a lot of people’s minds to the possibilities of natural medicine and natural approaches to health.

How will you fund this plan?

20% of the profits of all sales made through the YAMOA® for Children Plan will go towards providing the free bottles of Yamoa to children who need it. We hope that within a year of launching the plan 100% of the profits will be able to go towards the plan and it will be self-funding. If you do not know any parents of children with asthma, but you would like to support this plan, please make a donation. This money will be used to print brochures for the schools and fund the free bottles of Yamoa for the plan. Alternatively, you can donate bottles of Yamoa itself to the YAMOA® for Children Plan which will be made available to children who need it. Simply go to the order page and order a special YAMOA® for Children Plan bottle of powder and we will keep it aside for successful applicants in the plan and for children of less advantaged families across the world.

How can you be sure school Principals would embrace this plan?

I cannot. I can only hope that they can see that they hold the power to allow parents to have information and make their own informed decisions about the health of their children. The principal does not have to endorse our product in any way; simply allow us to provide information about it to the parents of children it could possibly help. We are asking nothing more than this of them. Their decision could be the difference between a child sitting on the sidelines as a spectator instead of playing a sport, or taking trips to and from hospital when they should be in the playground with their friends. I know what decision I would make, were I in their shoes.

What if my school will not agree to joining the plan? Can I still get Yamoa for free for my child?

We really do rely on word-of-mouth to promote our products. If your school will not join the plan initially, then perhaps when your child has used it and your school can see some results, they may well change their mind and join, at which point you will be able to buy your future orders at a discount. We do hope that if people are as generous as we anticipate they will be and enough schools join up, we will have enough free powder in the pool to offer to parents of low income, but this will probably be a while down the line as the plan picks up momentum.

Do I have to go through the Principal? Can’t I just find out who is asthmatic in the school and approach the parents directly?

This is something you could do, however, we find that many parents are very busy and fitting this in could be hard work. Some schools have more than 1000 pupils in them, it can be a daunting task. We can take the pressure off by going through the school principal. Also, if we develop a relationship with the principal, we would be able to continue the plan in the school long after your child has left the school.

Can you guarantee results with your Yamoa?

No. Yamoa is a natural product and works naturally with your body. Each and every person is different and responds in their own unique way to the powder. While some children may not respond as hoped, others can benefit beyond all expectation. This is the same for adults as children, but generally we have found that children respond well and quite quickly. This could be attributed to their lack of a lifetime of stress, illness, poor nutrition, many years of smoking etc., in contrast to us adults. However, the fact that we are giving it away for free demonstrates that we have a marked amount of faith in this scheme working and many children being able to benefit from our product in the long run. Please go to http://www.yamoapowder.com/ to read more about Yamoa and to pay special attention to the information in the FAQs there.

How does the system work exactly? How do I get my discount and what should I tell other parents to do to get theirs?

Once a school has signed up to the plan, we will issue a unique code for that school. Parents of the school will then be able to use that code to claim their discount online. Before placing their first order, we will need the name of the child and the school so that we can verify the information with the school and authorise the discount. The discount will not show up immediately, but it will be credited back to the card used for the transaction once the order is processed for shipping.

Do you anticipate any problems with getting this plan underway?

Getting the schools to agree to giving parents the information is the tricky part – they may not want to be seen to be endorsing a product, so the brochure we send will make it clear that by providing this brochure the school is in no way endorsing Yamoa or condoning its use, nor is it in any way responsible for any possible adverse reaction a child may have from taking the product after reading the brochure. They are simply making parents aware that they have options available to them if they are concerned about the way in which their child's asthma is currently being treated.
